By using GLP1Compass you accept these terms together with the full Disclaimer and the Privacy Policy. If you don't accept them, don't use the site. These terms exist because this is health-and-money information: the stakes of misreading what this site is are real, so we spell it out.
What this site is — and is not
GLP1Compass is an independent informational and consumer-advocacy publication about affording GLP-1 medications: costs and savings programs, the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, state Medicaid coverage, and appealing denials. It is not a pharmacy, prescriber, telehealth provider, insurer, or government agency; it does not sell or dispense medication; and using it creates no doctor–patient, attorney–client, or other professional relationship. Content is general information, not medical, legal, insurance, or financial advice.
Accuracy and change
Prices, manufacturer programs, and coverage rules change constantly. Every figure is stamped with the date we recorded it (currently June 2026) and linked to a public source — the discipline is documented on the methodology page — but you must verify the current price and your own coverage with the manufacturer, your plan, or the official program before acting. Content is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Using our content and templates
You may read, link to, and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, and you may adapt the appeal letter template for your own (or your patient's) insurance appeal — that's what it's for. You may not republish substantial portions of the site commercially without permission, misrepresent this site's content as medical advice or as endorsed by Medicare, CMS, or any drug manufacturer, use the site for anything unlawful, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.
Third-party links and affiliate disclosure
The site links to outside sources (government agencies, manufacturers, news) that we don't control and aren't responsible for. Some links may be partner or affiliate links; they are labeled, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and — consistent with the FTC's Endorsement Guides — we disclose this wherever it applies. Partner placements never displace the cheapest legitimate option we show.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GLP1Compass and its operators are not liable for any loss or damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content, including decisions about medication, insurance, appeals, or purchases. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.

Yes — the letter-of-medical-necessity template exists to be used. It is a drafting aid: your clinician must personalize it to your documented record and sign it, because an appeal succeeds on your specifics, not on a generic letter. It does not guarantee approval and is not legal or medical advice.
No. Everything here is information about cost and coverage — prices, programs, appeals, and eligibility rules. Decisions about whether to take a GLP-1, dosing, and side effects belong with your prescriber and pharmacist. The full disclaimer spells this out.
